Here’s How It All Works
Step One: You contact us, and an appointment will be made for you to meet with author Tom Bird, who will help you evaluate your situation and help you choose the appropriate route for you and your book to take.
Step Two: After you have chosen an appropriate route and an agreement has been entered into, you will be furnished with a suggested Production Schedule, which will detail what needs done and what will be done every step of the way, and the due dates associated with juncture.
Step Three Once you have finished doing your personal revision work on your book, it will be moved into production, which is when the Production Schedule comes into play.
Step Four: Depending on the plan you choose, your book will either move right into formatting, which is a fancy word for typesetting, or, as will be true in more cases, it will first go to a style editor, who will review the overall strengths and weaknesses of your work. At any time a meeting between you and your style editor can be arranged to go over any questions you may have or to get any clarifications you need. Once any adjustments to your manuscript have been made as the result of the style editor’s suggestions, your book then moves into copyediting – you know – correction of any punctuation, grammar or spelling mistakes, after which the manuscript will be returned to you for review. Once you have your reviewed your manuscript for suggested copyediting changes, it goes to formatting. After you have okayed the formatting, your manuscript officially becomes a book. Then a cover and all art work is designed, three different eBook versions are created (one to meet the needs of general eBook readers; one for Kindle and the other to suit the needs of the IPad). A hardcopy version is created and provided to your fulfillment house, whose job is to print your book and to fill all of the orders for your book that will surely come streaming in.
Step Five: You are now a published author and your book will be available worldwide. Even though services to expedite the publication are available for an extra cost, you can expect to complete all five of these steps, as long as you are good with deadlines, in usually 90 days or less.
Step Six: Get out there and let the world know your book exists – promote. We can help in that area as well (see below) depending on the package you choose.
Step Seven: Do it all again with books two through ______________(you fill in the blank), but this time and every time from this time forward, it will be easier, faster, simpler and less emotional for you, until the time when the publishing of one of your books is just a breeze.

Support
The publication of a book represents not only a potential major professional coming out party for you but a personal one as well. The cutting out of the middle person ups the personal revenue you receive from your book by as much as eight times. But the work that usually falls on the shoulders of that middle person still needs to be completed and now needs to be addressed by you or you and your staff.
Support is provided in two different ways.
First, for those persons who choose either The Whole Enchilada or Basic Package, Tom conducts weekly webinar classes, where he meets with the members of his current PN course to direct and guide efforts and answer questions. Most involved in a group such as these find the get-togethers stimulating and the presence of the other authors supportive. Going this route also enables you keep the cost down, if that is a consideration. Currently these classes are being offered through the end of 2011 and are free to anyone in the PN program.
Secondly, for those on the route of the Golden Ticket, Tom will personally be at your beck and call, providing you with the individualized service for which you paid the extra fee. So you will be working directly with him as he guides you through the process.
